Add me on Pets LIVE!

I didn’t think that when I said, “More details the next time round” it would be more than a month later. Honestly, I thought I would be able to maintain constant updates on all my blogs but seemingly that’s not how things are looking.
First and foremost, for those that aren’t familiar with Pets LIVE by Storm8, it’s an iPhone game. Mentioning earlier, it’s like “Mafia Wars with characters from Neopets.” Here are some screenshots I got from AppShopper:

Addicted to Pets

Getting my iPhone 3GS 16GB (white) wasn’t suppose to mean getting myself addicted to iPhone games. But who knew, I got it and got addicted. Very addicted in fact.
I am sooo addicted to Pets LIVE I almost couldn’t concentrate studying for my exams. Thankfully, the exam topics happened to be something I dealt with pretty often. Although I’m not sure if I ace them all but I’m pretty sure I didn’t fail them. Come to think of it, I probably did better this semester than the previous two.

(I think) I like Left 4 Dead 2 (L4D2)

I’m suffering from Monday blues, not because there’s work, but because there’s exam. And the worst part of it all, I haven’t actually studied yet. I’ve been waaay distracted recently. And I have the bear to blame for it, or rather, his friends.

The bear’s addiction to his camera is subsiding slightly. His eagerness to play L4D2 on the other hand is increasing rapidly.

Qian is an old friend from work. He’s back from his studies and currently working for a gaming magazine, PlayWorks. Here’s something he put together (or at least I think he did):

What do you think?

McDonald’s Monopoly, he plays it too

The thing about “topics” is that it always seems to make a big round and bite you when you least expect it – sometimes good, sometimes bad.
Earlier this week I stumbled onto McDonald’s Monopoly online game (since I don’t actually go out that often, or for that matter, take notice of the piece of paper they put on the trays) and decided to blog about it here. Today, after dinner on the trip home, Monopoly was brought up and it eventually lead to McDonald’s Monopoly again. See what I mean …

Nintendo DSi, should I?

Been thinking for a while about the Nintendo DSi – should I get it, or should I not? I have the Nintendo DS Lite, in baby pink, but a camera is kinda tempting, really. The only thing that’s kinda holding me back happens to be – game choices. Rumour has it that games made for the DS Lite are not compatible for the DSi. It’s just a “rumour”, one that I should really verify.

More than two months it has been since I returned back from my trip to Perth. It was an enjoyable trip but one that I will not be mentioning much here.
In case you’ve mistaken, after my purchase of Team Fortress 2 (TF2), I realised that I couldn’t play it after many attempts. With that, the eagerness to embrace the game soon died.
The same story goes for Blackshot and Dragonica. It seems the only game that my notebook is able to support is… well… World of Warcraft.

I’ll be in Australia (Perth) for the next couple of days – will be back on Tuesday at 5.35am. Anyway.
Through impulse, I bought Team Fortress 2 (TF2) via Steam, installed it and suffered the legendary blue-screen-of-death when entering Egypt map. It was quite saddening really. Considering that it cost me (I think) USD19.90.
I got a little hooked to Blackshot when I played a pub. 3 v 3 at TGX during the launch (compliments of Garena). I also installed the game, but unfortunately, my Xiaobai can’t seem to support it either. …

The thing about the World of Warcraft is that it’s incredibly HUGE. It’s just so time consuming to move from one area to another – especially at lower levels. After close to 2-3 weeks of WoW-ing, finally we’ve (my Teddybear and myself) hit level 30 and could purchase our very first mounts! (Initially you could only get them at 40, I guess they changed it abit since I left…)
Teddybear isn’t the photo-taking-kinda-person. Even screenshots are tiresome to him. So anyway, I present to you…

Before I head to bed, let me wish you all a HAPPY NEW YEAR and share with you something I found in YouTube.
*Ahem* While the rest of mankind celebrates the new year with actual fireworks. The horde and alliance had their own fireworks celebration in the World of Warcraft (WoW).

What about you? How did you celebrate your 2009 new year?
