Ever since the World Cyber Games 2009, two months or more back, I kinda went into hibernation mode once again. Yes, it’s not the first time, but who can really blame me right?

Think about it. If none of my hardware supports the kinda game I play, what can I play? Besides, even if it did support, I don’t have anyone to play them with either. The games I play kinda requires a crowd, which makes it more than three, a lot more.

I would go for console, but I kinda gave away all my Xbox games to “people”.

Suddenly it hit me, I was reading VTOR when I saw an entry about the game called “Fat Princess” which rang a loud bell in my head. If not mistaken, someone mentioned something about it not too long ago. I kinda let it slip feeling a little insulted by the title. I’m suffering from a mild case of “I think I’m fat cause I kinda put on weigh” and the word “fat” and “princess” put together doesn’t make me feel any better.

Since fate brought us together (kinda), I had to give it a chance.

Fat Princess is a downloadable game for the PlayStation Network developed by Titan Studios and published by Sony Computer Entertainment. Not being on the PlayStation Network, so to speak, I couldn’t just hop on the console and download it just like that. What I could do, is read about it until one kind soul passes me a PlayStation with the game.

For starters, Fat Princess is primarily a one to thirty-two multiplayer game with the basic goal of collecting the Princess, bringing her back to the team’s base, and then protecting her.

The players collect food for their own princess which makes her heavier and therefore harder for the enemy to carry. The game contains six character classes (The Villager, The Worker, The Mage, The Ranger, The Priest, and The Warrior) each of which helps to make the team’s task of capturing the princess easier.

It’s something different, I have to admit. But “fat” and “princess” put together still makes me feel a little uncomfortable.
