Xbox 360 Party: Ninja Gaiden II

I really got to get this entries moving along. 2 down 8 more to go!

Next title is none other then…

Ninja Gaiden II

Sigh. All that blood but none from me.

If given the opportunity to really get my hands dirty, I’d really like to ripe this game apart and tell you head to toes how and what makes it bleed. But, hey, boohoo for me. At least I had the opportunity to sit back, relax, and watch the presenter work the blades?

If I’ve not mistaken, this game is one of the more popular action series out in the market, and as you can see, it has just got bloodier!

(Compared to the previous 2 titles I got a hell lot more screenshots for this one. So, yeah, bear with the screenshot spamming for just a bits?)

Okay, where was I? Ah yes…

Violence isn’t the only aspect of the game that boasts impressive detail, or not. Let’s just put it this way…

If the above screenshot didn’t involve slicing and discing the enemy, it would probably not be as appealing as it does? (But that’s just me.)

Moving along… Let’s go a little into the “plot” now.

In Ninja Gaiden II (an Xbox 360 exclusive), Ryu Hayabusa is out to once more save his clan and the human race. (It’s a never ending cycle.)

The game is built on a new game engine crated by Team NINJA and Tomonobu Itagaki and features a new auto-health system and the ability to save clips of your favorite battles to share them on Xbox Live.

The game’s opening chapter takes place Tokyo’s Sky City and has Ryu, looking buff and sexy as ever, working his way around and through high-rises as he takes on a slew of ninja.

The combat system used in the game is surprisingly complex.

It seems, at first blush, to be all about button mashing, but like I said, I wasn’t able to get my hands dirty, so that’s as much as I can tell from way over here, across the room from the presenter.

What I did notice however, is that… Well… Differ from the screenshots, the character jumping around in the screen before us, seemed a little bashed up by the opposing enemies.

But hey, pressure of the crowd, right?

Okay, let’s just end it now!
