Bugis Junction VIRTUALAND: “What did you say?”

We all know that loud sounds hurt our ears drums. Thus, too much loud music from clubs may seriously damage your hearing in a long run. However, there are places that are far worst then clubs. And well… It’s not “music to our ears” at all.

After experiencing the arcade-style-lan-shops, what I can say is,

I’ll pick a club over them anyday, anytime.

Sadly, today isn’t “the day” or “the time”.

Unfortunate for me, Teddybear and gang have decided to torment me by arranging the Counter-Strike session for the evening at non-other then a dreadful arcade-style-lan-shops, which I’m totally against.

Why didn’t I “speak up” you ask?

Hellooo… It’s Teddybear and gang honey! Not Miuki and gang you know. Do I have a say to begin with? Furthermore, I kinda wanna stick with the pack and not be ostracized for being a spoil sport?

In case you didn’t know - Teddybear works like 5 days a week and at most occasions he kinda needs to OT. Seriously. I’ve gotta get whatever time I can to spend it with him, even if it means being tortured by loud sound.

Anyhow.

Enough of the complains, back to the review.

Although based on environment I’ll probably give it a 2 outta 10 or less, but equipment wise, if compared to Speedy that is, it’s probably a 8 outta 10. Then again, if I’m gonna compare it to a true-blue LAN shop… Probably a 6?

The build of the PCs seems playable. I mean, at least it didn’t hang when I was spraying my AK47 bullets or lag when I fast scope and sniped (though I didn’t hit anyone). But, they could really do something about the hygiene. I totally can’t stand sticky keyboards and mouse.
