Snooker. A cue sport that is played on a large baize-covered table with pockets in each of the four corners and in the middle of each of the long side cushions.

To play snooker you need a regulation (full-size) table which is 12 ft × 6 ft, you need a cue, a white ball (which we refer to as the cue ball), 15 red balls (each of which worths a point), and 6 balls of different colors (each of which worths 2–7 points).

A player (or team) wins a frame of snooker by scoring more points than the opponent or opponents, using the cue ball to pot the red and colored balls. Simple eh?
