Here’s a ‘worthy‘ announcement I woke up to receive:
Betting Terminal Inc has announced that they are integrating the BackgammonMasters Poker Game Software into their game terminals which are scattered throughout the world.
According to the press release, the first pilot for the integration is said to be launched in Croatia. The pilot installation is planned for 100 betting terminals in coffee shops, bars and other entertainment hotspots. In the recent days we tend to hear ALOT about ‘social networking sites‘. Hmmm… So… What exactly is a social network?
According to Wikipedia:
A social network is a social structure made of nodes (which are generally individuals or organizations) that are tied by one or more specific types of interdependency, such as values, visions, idea, financial exchange, friends, kinship, dislike, conflict, trade, web links, sexual relations, disease transmission (epidemiology), or airline routes.
Features that are usually available (and most widely made used of) are, member profiles and, of course, free chat rooms.

Notice the blog advertising evolution in Asia?
An article in MEDIA that I got off ‘The eOK .network‘, dated October 5, 2007 (2 days before my birthday), had a 20 minutes interview Benjamin Koe:
My 20 minute interview ended up becoming a simple PR tip, but still good. The funny thing is that I didn’t even realise the article was out until my global CEO sent it to me. I guess that’s a good thing… right?
Why Benjamin Koe?
I work at Hill & Knowlton in Singapore as a PR consultant in the technology …

It’s all about ‘sex‘ now? I, like many others out there, love the look of an attractive man as much as the next woman (since I’m a female and all). But where do you draw the line?
If you notice lately at Ping.sg, topics related to ‘sex‘ tend to hit the ‘most popular in the last 24 hours‘ charts easily.
This is becoming a trend which many are using at their advantage.

Most of you gamers out there are familiar with the term “GG”, but are you familiar with the up and coming LAN centre – “GG”?
Gaming Giants, also known as “GG” is a LAN centre made for evolution. It basically satisfies the gamers needs for a quick fix. Truly “for gamers by gamers”, the management of GG is made up of competitive gamers. Thus, being gamers themselves, they somewhat know exactly what the gamers want (especially the competitive ones).

Lately I’m somewhat into Xbox as well so I decided to pull the same stun to retrieve the “top 10” list for Xbox as well. (I know I’m such a lazy bum so on and so forth.)
Similarly to what I did previously… This time replacing “pc” I typed in “xbox” instead. Within seconds, depending on your connection speed, yet again I got one whole list of links! *Haha*
And again, I chose Axisnova.com.
(It’s the easiest to copy and paste.)
*Ahem* And here their ‘Xbox 360: Top 10 Games 2007‘:
1. BioShock X360 2K …

I’d like to say that I put in tons of effort to obtain this list, but I can’t. Sigh.
Basically what I did was I typed in the words (with the “) “top 10 games”, “2007″ and “pc” in Google. And I found:
*Ahem* According to Axisnova.com the ‘PC: Top 10 Games 2007‘ are:
1. BioShock PC 2K Games 95.5%
2. Galactic Civilizations II: Dark Avatar PC Stardock 92.9%
3. World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade PC Blizzard Entertainment 90.9%
4. Supreme Commander PC THQ 87.5%
5. Civilization IV: Beyond the Sword PC 2K Games 87.2%
6. The …

If you were to select Counter-Strike (the PC game) or Paintball, which would you pick? For me, I pick Counter-Strike of course. I never really liked “real life” violence. Virtual reality kind is “okay”, I guess. I mean, you can’t actually get injured playing a PC game, can you?
Anyway… I’ve been hearing a couple of comments about the somewhat link between Counter-Strike and Paintball. And to be frank, I find it ridiculous.
Counter-Strike is Counter-Strike.
Paintball is Paintball.
The significant difference between them is that one is virtual the other is reality. Enough …

After 365 days, it’s a new year all over again!
Just yesterday, I heard something interesting on the radio. It seems “gaming” (in general), whether PC or console is somewhat blooming in Singapore as we speak.
Not only are there more and more Game Development Companies are coming up. Games that are pushed out to the Singapore market are also somewhat receiving relatively good response from the consumers. In fact, it’s said that many purchased “games” as gifts for Christmas! I didn’t though. My Teddybear isn’t much of a game fanatic. Still… …
