Reaching the edge?
Every once in a while you feel as though you’ve reached the edge of a cliff and you can’t seem to turn around, away from it.
It’s times like this that makes me wonder, is it time to take a step back?
Okay. I admit I sound a little too dramatic. Still… You cannot imagine the humiliation I suffered today! I swear – IT HURTS!
It isn’t the kind of pain you suffer every other day. It has not only proven that I… Miuki, lost to a guy, that apparently played this game for the very first time, at my supposedly ‘best game‘ (which obviously I’m not going to mention)! *Ouch*
The irony…
I’ve always been the kinda girl that believes in equality among genders. I believe that the abilities of a female can, in fact, surpass those of a male. But today… do I admit my defeat?
I lost. I cannot believe that I lost in a game that I’m supposedly superior to the likes of HIM! It’s impossible, not to mention – very much devastating. I feel… Crushed!
*Sigh* Can defeat be any more painful?
