Yakuza 3 Trailer Released

Before I go into the topic itself, I have a confession to make. I am not much of a PS2 fanatic. In fact, I don’t even own a set. But of course, I do play the games at friend’s place or something, once in a while.

Anyway…

According to other reviews and such, Yakuza is supposed to be a somewhat good game, especially if you based it on the story line.

What can I say… The Japanese underworld is really one of the most fascinating topics for me (in other words it isn’t THE most). Just based on that, it was truly loads of fun, for a couple of hours that is. However, if you compare it to the other games that I truly enjoy like World of Warcraft and such, there’s basically no comparison. It’s pretty repetitive and not at all complex.

In short, there’s room for improvement.

Then came Yakuza 2.

I was, of course, hoping that it would be much better then the previous “version“, but that all ended when I learned that it’s for Japan ONLY. You cannot imagine the disappointment. I mean I can barely read Chinese, let’s not even go into Japanese.

Talk about being able to see but not being about to touch.

Thank god I chanced upon the trailer of Yakuza 3. Talk about joy not being able to last long enough. Yet again, it’s in Japanese.

I don’t understand, don’t they know that English is the International language? *Sigh*

Yet another disappointment.

Hopefully the developers would be kind enough to “create” an English version so at least the language barrel is removed and I can actually compliment (or rather bitch) the game itself?
