Gaming Fiesta 2007
Posted by miuki as Perspectives
It’s so unfair…
Why wasn’t there a gaming fiesta back when I was still very much into gaming? Sigh…
Gaming Festival is a bold new initiative by a group of tertiary students, to bring gaming enthusiasts together. We hope to allow gamers to find opportunities in our new gaming industries, at the same time networking and enjoying themselves. Gaming Festival will also be a venue for our upcoming software and board gaming industries to promote themselves and to bring about a higher level of interest of gaming and gaming development in Singapore.
If I’m not wrong, in 2006, they also held a “Gaming Fiesta“. I’m not sure if it’s the same thing though.
Anyway. I have to admit that I’m rather slow. The site was build in July and only now, in August, I chanced upon it. *Laugh*
The site isn’t very impressive to be frank. The updates aren’t consistent. The news isn’t very refreshing. The review section has no reviews at all. Feels a little like an empty shell. Hopefully the community will revive it. Otherwise it’s just going to be another “failure project“.
